    removing rubrail

    getting my sl1050 ready for paint I cant find anywhere on here on how to remove the rubrail any info or link would be great.

    Gotta drill the rivets out. Then rivet it back on.

    ok I didnt know if it was glued also mine only has a couple of rivets init but I guess thats all it needs.

    it has two way tape on it too so just drill the rivets and pull

    Be careful pulling too hard. I took off some of the glass on my X45 removing the rails. That tape is really stuck.
