GP1300R - Solas or Skat Trak

    Hi all,

I have the choice of impellors between Solas Dynafly or Skat Trak Swirl, which work better on GPR's? Looking at bottom and mid range so will go with 13/19 pitch, unless advice differs.

Ski is mainly stock and will be staying that way, although D plate has been done and I have a Riva intake grate. Looking at sealing the shoe when the impellor gets done too.

    Thanks

I,ve had both....the Skat trak will fit your needs ....there "R swirl" design gives a great holeshot and acceleration and its not overpitched so your stock engine should spin her (7150-7250rpms) quickly...the Solas Dyna (14/20) its design will give you maybe 1-2 mph on top....

Thanks for the reply. So with the swirl I won't lose any top speed?

How did the dynafly 14/20 compare bottom and mid range to the swirl? If I went with the dynafly I'd prob gr it repitched to 13/19

Dynafly - as already mentioned faster on top, but crappy bottom end

Skat - great bottom and mid but slower on top

Obviously it will be slower that the Dynafly 14/20, but will the swirl keep the same top speed as the stock impellor?

I'm trying to get comparisons between Swirl 13/19 and the Dynafly 13/19, because I understand that the Dynafly 14/20 isnt 100% suitable for a stock GPR.

Thinking I might just go for the re-pitched Solas, according to impros its the better all round option
