    primer install question

I am installing a fuel primer kit on a 800gp. My question is, will removing the choke plates change the fuel mixture enough to require rejetting. I know there are a lot of people on this forum who have done this, what were the results on fuel mixture. Any input would be appreciated.

If the 800 is a powervalve engine, there is a boss on the front side of each carb, like it is there for a choke shaft to be mounted the other direction. Anyway, you can drill a small hole thru the boss, then tap it for a 10-32 screw. McMasterCarr sells a little 1/8" brass barb that has a 10-32 thread, and you can then have a primer inject point without removing the choke or oil injection.

Thanks LT1GMC! Thats a great idea, I didn't have any idea they made a barb like that.
