    Hydro Turf Install?

Has anyone installed the Hydro turf mats on their ski? How hard are they to install?

Also, how do they hold up over time?

If done right, they stay stuck a long time. Not hard to do at all. I usually tape the area where the edge of the mat will be and dry lay them in. Take a pencil and trace the mat where you want it to sit, then take a sharp blade or exacto knife and cut along the pencil line. Then you can tear up the excess tape. This will alow you to brush the contact cement right up to the edge of where the mat will be. Glue both mat and footwell, allow to glue to flash to dry to the touch, then carefully lay mat into place using the tape edge as a guide. I never had a problem with them coming up.

I used the pressure sensitive adhesive. very easy to install just make sure you clean and prep the surface before hand.

Get the PSA on the mats for 15 bucks or whatever they charge. Well worth the money. Peel and stick and done. Just make sure the surface is perfectly clean.

Is there a thread with some pictures of some of the "other" colors installed? Other being not black.

+ 100000........ No question!!!! Well worth the $15.00. No spraying the adhesive and getting it everywhere. Installs in minutes rather than HOURS!
