RXTX 260 Starting Issues
Ran about 65 miles Saturday on my 2010 RXTX and the ski would not re-start immediately after shutting down.
Fuses were all good but the rectifier was hot to touch, once it cooled down the ski fired up and ran flawlessly.
I am thinking the recifier is bad as the voltage at idle is 14.3V. So far it looks like the harness wires are not burnt.
Does anyone know if the ski has some kind of start protection if the rectifier overheats ??:

My 12 rxpx has problems starting because of a faulty micro-something in the start/stop buttons switch. If yours is definitely heat related then its a different problem.
I did have a weird thing happen like this once when I'd only done around 5 hours (35 now) where the ski wouldn't start and the button seemed to be working fine. It started after about 10-15 seconds though and I haven't had it happen again since.
