    Xp ride plate

Hi all, Been doing looking about and found a lot on people putting a 97 ride plate on later skis (99) to gain 1 mph. Seems its down to the angle? Is there any way of putting shims on a 99 plate to make it similar? I've gps @ 59-60 mph. Is it worth getting a 97 plate?
