2007 1300R Mod Path for Jumping & Holeshot.

There's millions of threads about flat water, top speed skis. Let's change it up. What would you guys do for mods for a jumping ski? Last year I picked up this 07 and I need to start shopping!

80% of my riding is in rough choppy Lake Erie waters with 2-4's/5-7's and big small craft advisories. (Video of our normal riding days )

Here's my thoughts, I'm open to any ideas and corrections. I've spent the past few years reading/learning 1200's and never payed attention to the 1300 stuff. I'm going to seperate mods into two lists "Basic" & "advanced".

Basic Mods to help hole shot:
    R&D D Plate
    Premix
    R&D Aquavein Grate
    Pump Plug & Seal Shoe
    Jetworks Mod (pro valve)
Hull mounts - Intake/Shoe/Plate/Tabs (Needed for slight mods?)
Tunnel reinforcement (Needed for slight mods?)
Modify seat latch (never did on my GPR12 but I mind as well on this one.)

More advanced mods to help hole shot:
Leos Hole Shot Kit (A little pricey so it has to wait, I really want it though)
    Shave Head
    EFI Controller
    Prop (no clue what pitch)

Please, criticize & add to my list!

Basic Mods to help hole shot:
R&D D Plate -go with the Riva... bigger opening for 1300
Premix- IMO not necessary, but you can if you want to
    R&D Aquavein Grate- yes
Pump Plug & Seal Shoe- yes, and seal the shoe to the hull
Jetworks Mod (pro valve)- yes, jetworks mod
Hull mounts - Intake/Shoe/Plate/Tabs (Needed for slight mods?)- IMO not needed, but re-glue them into the hull
Tunnel reinforcement (Needed for slight mods?)- yes needed
Modify seat latch (never did on my GPR12 but I mind as well on this one.)- yes

More advanced mods to help hole shot:
Leos Hole Shot Kit (A little pricey so it has to wait, I really want it though)
    Shave Head- yes
EFI Controller-yes, if go with milled head
Prop (no clue what pitch) Dynafly or Skat trak 13/19
    Freeflow- better bottom end

Please, criticize & add to my list!
no waveeaters needed on this model

also may want to get rid of the restrictive air intake and go with a filter on the end of the airbox... Riva power filter

stock rideplate is best for rough

Thanks for the input WFO, I actually have a Riva filter & R&D extended nozzle that came with the ski. If I have the filter on, do I need to worry about fuel or will the EFI keep up with that?

ThatDude, you should come up to Cleveland this summer and ride.
