08 RXTX oil pressure sensor location and fitting

Hello from down-under. Im a new member, i must say what a plethora of information!

I hav an 08 rxtx, 39hrs. Have had the alarm of doom come on, and 'OIL' in the info display. Checked the obvious first, oil level and its mint. So next on the list is to replace the oil pressure sensor. I got a free one from the seadoo dealer as its common fault just have to return my old one. I searched the forum but cant seem to find any 'hints and tips' as too the easiest way to replace. I read somewere the the inlet manifold has to come off. Can any of you give me a brief run down on procedure? My service manual is in the mail but is ex-USA so i cant use that. Im an automotive mechanic so doing the job shouldnt be an issue.

Also i read up on the article of hulls cracking, is any one able to shead any light on which particular models are doing it? Its got me a tad concerned as i ride hard and fast.

Any help/info is greatly appreciated. Guru's are far and few between down here and they tend to keep to themselves. Will be looking into mods soon

    Welcome to the Hulk.

The sensor is under the intake manifold just below and forward of the oil filter. Seven bolts hold the intake manifold in place. Then it tilts towards the foot well and lifts up after the dipstick is free. You also need to remove the SC charge pipe from the throttle body.
