Hey all. Another question to those who can help.
I need to get a new bilge pump. Any idea the best place to get the replacement? Also need a cheap cover if anyone has any suggestions for that. Finally, seems the oil tank is leaking when it is just sitting (I filled it up last Thursday and it has been sitting since then and is down to about a half tank). Do you think replacing the tubes will fix this? I don't think they've been replaced since it was originally purchased back in 01.

It should just be a Rule 360 gph pump, at least thats what both of my Virages have in them. I see them on Amazon for $12.67. You will just have to cut the plug off yours and wire it onto the new one.

Out of these bottom two which would be best:
http://www.amazon.com/Rule-Submersib...7097144&sr=8-3
http://www.amazon.com/Rule-25D-6WC-M...097427&sr=1-26 - this one seems to have a connector wire where the other doesn't. I'm not sure which one I need since the Genesis has the bilge pump switch that activates the bilge. Any idea?

I believe those are both the same pump. The Rule website only lists one model 500 gph pump. And that is bigger than the factory pump in your ski. Your Genisis and my virage both call for the same part number on the bilge pump, which is the 360 gph model, or this one. http://store.waterpumpsupply.com/rule1.html
This is the Amazon link to the same pump listed above. http://www.amazon.com/Rule-24-Marine...7103940&sr=8-1
If your electrical system is working correctly, the pump should come on any time the engine is running. The bilge power button is simply to turn it on manually.

I was just looking at the bigger one as it seems to be the same size roughly but with a greater capacity. Not that I need a greater capacity but I can have the bigger one in 2 days and the 360 says it will take 3-5 weeks to ship. Don't really want to wait that long. U think the 500 gph will not fit? Same volt and all just size would be the issue I guess right?

Looks like they are identical in size from the chart, and for whatever reason, actually pulls .2 less amps. Should work fine.
