    Unhappy 96 zxi trim dont work ? need help i dont know much

    i recently purchaesed this ski runs great ! butt the trim dont work
    ! how can i truble shoot this , is it the motor or the switch i looked for a ground all that is there is the main neg cable just one thick black wire should there be another ? i need help

    Open up the trim control box in the hull front of the engine. Just follow the trim cable and you will find the box.
    I bet electronics are all rusted in there. I would not be surprised if it's full of water as well.

    I will do ! I checked the battery terminal the ground is secure! Is there a way to check the trim switch ? The green start button works as well as the shut off ! I dunno how much a trim box cost ! Butt Iam realy not trying to purchase a new one ! Thanks for your help ! I will post a pic of the trim box soon!

    I have also problem s with the speedometer and tilt ! Iam not sure if the. Gas gauge works so Iam not sure if it's just a wiring problem ! Is this common?
