    riva/darton cylinder sleeves?

    Has anyone installed these sleeves.
I am wanting to know what size pistons you can use these with?
    OEM or oversized pistons?

Yes and yes. I can't tell you yet how big of pistons you can have because I've been asked to wait a little bit longer before disclosing this information. The acceleration is insane and the pump must be upgraded, I went with a 14vane skat. I haven't taken delivery of it yet but have been told that it will be hard for anyone to beat me on hole shot!!!

And how would the sleeves help with the added performance?

The Darton sleves are some of the tuffest in the industry giving the ability of safely running bigger pistons with thinner cylinder walls not achievable on the OEM sleaves, Julio...

I called riva today and got some info on the darton sleeves.
Sounds like with the darton sleeves you have to use different pistons with different rings than what you would use on oem sleeves.
I will see what i need as far as pistons or sleeves when i get my motor out and torn down.
Hopefully i just need new rings!

they are not big bore sleeves, its still a 1.8L engine 1812cc if you need sleeves and pistons, go all the way with the 1.9L upgrade !!!!

Yes the Darton sleeves require different tolerance than the OEM sleeves. And no it isn't a 1.8 anymore, not even close!!!
