    WOW! scary.

    I wondered why all of a sudden i lost my brakes in the back of my jeep, It's amazing what salt water does.

    wow that is scary
    had my 4x4 for over 10 years and it has been used around and driven in salt water many times
    i might just change the drums with the brakes next time

    My truck does the opposite, I have gm brake calipers on my tundra in the rear with a gm axle and the damned things lock up from the salt all the time, I have tried lubing them and rinsing them and coating the pistons with grease but they still dont last for anything. I get about 2 or 3 months out of them but at least they are cheap.

    That's crazy! Not a thin Piece to be rusting through. Makes me appreciate the mud colored fresh water we have

    Woah! Good thing I replaced the drums in my XJ last year!
