What life jackets do you recommend?

I'm still wearing the same life jacket that i've had for the past 6 years or so. It seems it's shrinking a bit over the years and getting a little too snug so now it's time for a replacement. Just wondering what folks here use and what's comfortable.

I rock a Slippery Luxe. Pretty nice front-zip, neoprene vest.

My old jacket is nylon, so is neoprene the way to go for comfort?

Yes, neoprene is very comfortable. I have a Slippery vest as well. I hear Jet Pilot is another good company.

I usually catch grief from my friends on this, but I wear an under armour shirt under my vest to keep sweat/ suntan lotion out of the vest. It keeps it nicer longer. It makes for one hell of a Farmer's tan!

Yep Jacket's shrinking. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Funny, my pants and shirts seem to be doing the same thing.

I wear this vest, had a cheap neoprene and had the buckles come undone twice when coming off at 60+.
Still have the neoprene for hot summer days when im just cruisin or two up. Love the new jacket. With my helmet on it really eliminates whiplash potential, but doew restrict movement a bit. I pull my helmet off when docking.

Cant comment on the above neoprenes, but they are certainly better than my neoprene. The mustang is rated for 100mph crashes, good piece.of.mind.
