    Boat prop on an fzr?

I see that the large Yamaha jet boats share the 1.8 liter engine, has anyone checked out their boat props and tested to see how they might work on a high HP fzr?

the hubs on the boat prop are GPR size...wont fit unless you find a way of boring and re-splining...I have two boat props here in front of me.

Which boat are these props off of? I'm not talking about the old typical boat props we have been using for GPRs, I have one of those in front of me as well, the ones I am wondering about are off the new 242 Limited S boats (24') that use the same 1.8 motor.

I checked the part # for the spacer/ seals for the 242 and the fzr they are the same part #. Looks like the 242 has the same larger prop shaft that the fzr uses.

The VXR/S uses the boat prop stock.

Good call beerdart! This prop will not be tall enough pitch for a modded FZ But it was a good thought anyway. Tommy Jordan

IMO the boat/VF prop would be kick ass on an FZ if pitched right.
