Installed surge valve air filter, feels slower 300x.

Hello Guys. I have R&D plate/grate, Riva Air filter kit, blow off block off, and scom and the ski felt great. Now I installed the R&D little filter that goes on the metal surge valve/Blow off or what ever you want to call it and removed the second hose that goes to the air intake. It feels a bit slower. Has anyone felt this or did I just get used to it?

Was not looking for improvement, just cleaner look. Do not have a GPS yet.

your cleaner look wont last long, specially when that filter starts blowing a fine oil mist through out your hull

mine is a 260, but when i put one on, i lost HP.
I didnt even block the whole off in the Air box.
Im not sure if your grey hose runs across the top of the engine or not.
If it does just take it and run it under the engine and back up the front, past the oil filter, that makes the engine bay look less busy.

very hard to imagine loosing hp its only a relief valve until engine overcomes vacumn to close the valve, only way to loose hp is if the valve leaks of which the filter has nothing to do with

it does loose power. Ive tried it on and off.
Probably because your robbing the blower of air.
more air comes from the bov than what naturally sucks in the air box.
It may be slightly dirty and warm air but it's still air.
