    crankshaft bearings

I have two 1100 engines, both with one bad crank bearing.
Is there any way a machine shop could replace the bad bearing with a good one?
Do they need special equipment to do jet ski cranks?
    I can't afford a rebuilt crank at $350.

If its one of the outer bearings yes it can be done. If its an inner bearing, the crank needs to be disassembled.

They are actually the rod bearings. I figured the crank would need to be disassembled, can a machine shop that does outboard motor cranks handle this? We have a couple of them here.

its kinda specialized with tools jigs and all but if you can get good bearings(not chinese) its worth it.
PM me if you havent fixed it yet
