    03 Polaris Freedom crank

I just purchased a 03 Polaris Freedom, (first one ever) and it wont start. I purchased a new battery, a new solenoid, cleaned it all up. I put the lanyard on, tried to crank it over, and NOTHING....
    Any ideas where to start?

pull the pump and make sure the pump or prop is not stuck ,just pull the 4 long bolts that hold it on not the nuts that are on the hull

or try turning the engine coupler by hand to mafe sure the motor is free

I tried turning the prop and such, and it moves... I greased it up, and it works find, but
    but...
    but...
    it didnt click, or anything.
Brand new battery, and there was not even a sound.
I might as well be pressing a button on a plant outside... nothing at all happened.

    Help!

Yeah, Im trying that, I have downloaded the full manual on it, schmatics and so on. I have had boats all of my life, but never a ski... so, Im flying blind.... As I said, I placed in a new battery, solenoid, checked the fuses I could find, made sure connections were clean and free of rust or anything such. Im just at a loss...
I typically can fix anything, but man, this has me stumped...
Im not going to let this beat me, I just need to figure it out.
Is there something that has to be shut, closed or whatever to get it to turn over.
its almost as if there is a break in the ele power...

    Stumped for now...

try jumping the solenoid out just go positive right to the starter wire and i'm not sure if it has reverse lever it might have to be in foward to start

i'm not sure the freedoms had reverse but if they did it would be on the left side
just bypass the soleniod and see if it cranks
