06 stock rxp at 72.5 mph

i don't know what all of yall are talking about! I have a stock 2006 rxp with 32 hours on it and on perfect smooth water my stock spedometer says "72mph" then i read this forum of people saying they can only get to 64 -69. Am i special? lol. so i decided to buy a gps unit for it. took it out perfect day, 72.5. i have totally stock, have not removed anything, have not touched the beautiful engine or sc. nothing. everything is there and original. why do i get better speeds.

you can't read "Max Speed" on your GPS... it records speed spikes... you need to reset the GPS multiple times, run in opposite directions, cancel out tail winds, and also porpoising (bouncing) is known to cause the GPS to spike higher than actual speed

if ur stock machine is doing 72+... you accomplished a world record with it

34 degrees is a pretty LARGE EXTERNAL INTERCOOLER. I guess it could happen. but probably a spike, like my 74.7 stage 1.

I'm sure you wouldn't mind one of the established board members stopping by and verifying this beast.
