1999 Polaris SLH getting fuel to engine help

My polaris has been sitting since last summer and now when i try to start it, no fuel seems to be getting to the carburetors. I put gas directly into them and it started up but cut off when it burned up the fuel...I cant figure out why gas wont pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes it's on. I unattached the hoses coming out of the gas can to see if gas was pumping any gas when i tried started it and nothing was coming out. I'm not sure if the hoses have to be attached for it to work but either way it's not pumping any fuel.
