Here you go. I always wanted to tell tensioner to wipe the smirk off its face.

Put the mouth of tool in the middle of longest stretch of the SC belt(bottom). make sure handle is angled down rather than up when on belt. when in the right place pull up on the tool handle at a perpendicular angle to the belt, until it touches the pulley. the notch on the tool should be right in the tool GAP if belt is tensioned correctly. Does that make sense?

found the page, but sh*t, it may as well be written in Japanese. i cant tell by looking at the pic.
Ill find a independant on the coast to show me.
I had a lot of trouble getting the tool, as all the suppliers said they are not allowed to sell me one.
A dealer locally whom dropped Kawasaki last year sold me his tool that he no longer uses.
even the sites in the USA wouldnt sell me one.

You don't even need the tool If you know how tight it should be.
It's simple to use slide it on the belt in line with the idler pulley now rotate it until the large flat part touches the idler pulley now read the gauge in the middle is good adjust as needed.
