Yes, your Solas (just like the others) is out of whack. You need a little tweaking done on the trailing edge.

I just got my new solas prop this weekend, and right out of the box the trailing edge blades were up to 3mm diffirence between the other blades.I had to bend it myself to get them straight for the FRS #3 event. I only saw 8100 rpms, but may have boost leaks somewhere.

Jason, bend your blades up another 1 mm to get your RPM's back up.

Jerry, how much of the trailing edge do you bend??

It just depends on how far off the blades were. I found that 1mm = 200 RPM's on my setup.

Jason; I measured both the trailing edges and the leading edges of the blades on that prop and found them to all be exactly the same. I don't know how you saw a 3mm difference ?? However without having the prop installed in the pump, it's not possible to see if all 4 blages are exactly the same length.
By the way, the shipping only came to $8.50, not $10.25, so you owe me $1.75 less than what is on the invoice.
