Ok. Got a fuel pump and installed first. Was swapping the gauge, but plugged it in to see what's going on. It worked fine in the donor ski. When I plugged it in, it activated even with the orange switch to off. Did not do this pin the donor ski. Same part numbers stamped on the back also. The fuel pump did not work also. Swapped gauge back and the pump started to work and started. It now fires on both gauges, but the working gauge still will not shut off until I unplug the battery.
it also shows F1 on the display. Will get the service code later. Both buttons pressed for 3+ seconds correct?
I take it the security switch is shot? Display worked fine on donor ski and was never able to see what was going on as the display was toast on the ski originally.

The code is d0S... thought it was do5 which is the vehicle down sensor which states the computer cuts ignition down to 3k rpm. Says wiring open or short. Read where it says dealer has to reset the codes, but the manual says:
The service code character(s) will not be shown on the
LCD in the meter unit after the problems are solved.
Reason I asked is the donor ski was victim to water intrusion and not sure if the code was prior to it being installed in this ski.

I have a vehicle down switch I'll send you if you need it.

Thanks for the offer. Hopefully the one on the donor ski is good. Will see. How about the display that will not power down? Possibly the ignition/ security switch or hopefully not the computer?

Is that the original display meter?
It sounds like it's shot/shorted circuit board inside due to water intrusion.
Any moisture you can see behind the meter screen?

It is a replacement. It works 100% on the donor ski and when I put it on the ski, it powers on regardless of the ignition switch being on or off. No signs of water intrusion on the replacement and works flawlessly besides that. Still works on the donor ski though. Maybe another issue that was going on that went unoticed as the original display was water damaged. I did notice the AGM battery draining and actually thought I had a battery going bad because it drained down without notice and had to keep the leads off the battery instead after I trickled it back up to keep a charge.
Read your other thread on the 07 ski and what puzzles me is that it works as it should on the donor ski. Turn the ignition switch and it goes on. Turn the switch and it goes off. Just yesterday. Put on the ski and stays on. Weird.

Update
An ecu, 2 VDS sensors( special thanks to smokeyseven who sent one at his shipping expense to troubleshoot), another exhaust manifold, and water box later I believe we have found all issues. The VDS didn't seem to be the problem and got another ecu from OCD Solutions who brought it down with him last week. Guy is top notch. Ran since with no alerts. Did have a high speed bog, so assumed exhaust. Took it off and found this:
Houston, I think we have a problem. Figured this is where the cooling water was going.
