2012 RXPX intake grates
Has anyone tested the new intake grates available for the 2012 RXPX for speed/acceleration gains? People have reported an extra 3mph from R&D grates on older models of Doos, could you expect the same with the RXPX 260?
It already has a pretty good stock one and I'm wondering if its worthwhile getting the R&D one or modding the stock one or even a different one like Riva or Worx?
I like hole shot, acceleration and top speed in that order.
I'm doing a 4" air with the SC bracket adapter and the oil catch can. Stock apart from that. May get a V-Tech in the future and run a 8350 RPM tune.

I highly doubt you will see a 3 MPH gain since the stock one is pretty "ok"
I heard you will increase hookup tho!

So Far, R&D is the only Company that has Confirmed one, but it's not out yet.

Sorry I'm an idiot. Had a quick look at R&D website, saw the grate listed with an order button next to it and figured riva would have one out as they seem to like beating the other companies to the marketplace. Didn't realize it was only for pre-orders.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the various performance co's are having a hard time improving on seadoos stock design this time around. Its taken R&D this long to make one and their own press article doesn't even claim any speed gains. It just says you won't lose any speed. R&D grates have previously been the best for speed gains...
Might be a feather in the cap of the SD designers there. It is a grate great
