    yamaha gp1300r ENGINE

    Hi,
my 2003 -04 yamaah gp1300r engine broke down. I live in cyprus and its not easy to fix it with our mechanics and parts are so expensive and not easy to find all. So I am looking for second hand engine or rebuild engine. So I will be happy if you guys give me some ideas. If you guys know any second hand engine around or enginer who can help out.

    Thanks

    Okan Polatkan

Let us know what happend, and post pictures of the damage,
sure it's not fixable? there may be some rebuild engines here, but that is not cheap as well..

    Okan,

    Cyprus in the Netherlands?

People have 1300 PV parts that they can ship to you if you have someone locally to rebuild it.

PM me if you need some help.

What makes you think cyprus is in the Netherlands?

I do not have pictures of it. but when I speak with mechanic he says I need crank, pump housing, piston and others. Thats mean I need another engine shorty. Cyprus is a small island in middle east. I find some engine from http://www.shopsbt.com/ but its in america . Transportation will take as much as the engine price. I know that there are other gp1300r had accident or have other problems so they may want to sell the parts. The problem is finding them. If you guys here can give me hand I will be really thank full for you .

    regards

We still don't know what happend, and what ( parts ) you need.. take pictures, and give as much info as possible, we can't help if you don`t give us info

If someone has a complete engine, he will let you know

engine is in mechanic. will take time to take pics. I will as soon as possible. what happened is oil not pomped to engine. There is something under engine that cable pull it and oil get pumped to engine. I think it is plastic. That part broken. so engine work only petrol without oil.
