    Hydroturf install question

Ok I did search. And I basically know the answer. But how clean does the hull have to be for installation of hydroturf? I have my ski about 50% complete but I am having a hard time getting the adhesive off the right side of the ski. Any tips for removing this? I've just been using rubbing alcohol and elbow grease to try to get it clean.

A lttle bit of residue doesnt matter too much. I actually had more than you left, and came out fine. Just get the loose stuff and use plenty of cement.

I see your problem in the first photo , that doesnt look like rubbing alcohol, you're using the wrong kind of alcohol.

It needs to be completely clean. Use acetone - it make the glue jell up and rub off.
