    Adding an AFR, need advice

I'm going to add an AFR to my RXT before riding season starts and im looking for some input. Since its an 07 with the older manifold im opting to put the o2 bung in the j-pipe. Where on the j-pipe is the best place to install? What is the best/most accurate wideband monitor, LM1, LC1? Not sure of the difference. Also, where should the AFR be throughout the entire RPM range to acheive maximum performance and engine life? Does the doo have to be on the water to test/tune AFR?

I run an innovate mtx-L, mounted in the j-pipe. Several people have had success tapping the older 692 manifolds without hitting the water jacket. Here's a how to for the Jpipe:http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...ight=pipe+bung

I drilled my 06 exhaust manifold at work on lunch, read the sticky's, it was easy,
    and worked great,

Im still sold on the j-pipe, less change of totally ruining a part. plus i know a good welder. as for the wideband, mtx or lc1? both seem popular choices. is one better than the other?

The mtx is the way to go. Simple to use setup read calibrate etc. I got mine off eBay. Sellers name was street rays I believe. You can find them on amazon too.
