Whats to much for a stock engine??

Hey guys, i was just curious to know what is the biggest s/c that can be ran on a standard 4tec engine SAFELY without blowing it to bits.. valves and retainers being an exception as we will need to run some high rpm. reason i ask is because i would like to get my ski up to about 14psi at about 8450rpm but if that will need some engine work than might give it a pass.

    Thanks

You can put a supercharge impeller Seadoo centre A kit-R (9 blade) and run with RIVA ECU+ Seadoo centre Retainer , Solas 14/19R stock nozzle for Stock engine. It is very safety. My friend run with this set up for +200 Hours never have a problem.( changed supercharge bearing+ Clutch washer every 100 Hrs)

You could run the motor until 17 -18 psi without changing the internals.
I run the SC 68-140 for 90 hours and motor was perfect.
just be carefull with AFR,s because you could brake it in a minute if you dont adjust that numbers.
Im running 17.5 psi at 8800 rpm only changing the valve springs and retainers.

See my Sig. I run the ET 68-140 at 8760 RPM (15.8 lb of boost) with the only internal engine mod being the Rivas valve train upgrade (Springs, retainers, bolts) without any issues. You will need all required supporting mods depending which S/C you select.
