To All Who Has Purchased a NEW ECU???

I must say I was a bit worried when purchasing a new ECU for my F12x yesterday since it comes with NO Warranty. My question is to all who have had to purchase a new ECU for their Honda Aquatrax, have you had any issues with the new unit???

I had to purchase a new ecu because the new knock sensor and WGS didnt fix my problem with the ski. I went through the rest of the test checking the WGA as well and it was fine... Just wanted some feedback on any New Failed ECU's since I just spent $700 on a new one with No warranty.....

I hate to see you spend $700.00 for that ECU and it does not fix the problem. The Honda ECU is pretty much bullet proof! Make sure that all your vacuum lines are not crack and the vacuum line that comes off the turbo has a small brass pill in it make sure that it is there and make sure that it is not clog up. Take that line off and put up to the sun light and see if you can see light through it. And the air box has a small vacuum line on it too blow it out with an air hose.
Let me know what you find.

Two of my three have had ECM failures. The third one throws a false overheat if you run it WOT for more than a minute or two [same problem the first two had].

Thats not what I was expecting to hear. I awsumed since Honda had so many issues with the ECM they would have fixed the problem. I guess the only other option I have is to sell it and just go with with brand...
