One thing i did notice today that i didnt last year is how hot the motor and pipe gets when your finished riding,on the trailer at the loading ramp i actually burnt big whelps on my arm when i accidently laid it on the top on exhaust pipe, guess its a good idea to idle around a bit before loading up to let it cool down.I was running it pretty hard just before loading up and the no wake zone at the dock was only 100ft or so then i shut it off and loaded up on trailer.ive always been told that when you stop the engine after riding hard the engine heat really builds when the water drains out of the exhaust and engine. The temps actually get much hotter than when the engine is running.

Yep, that's like most boosted engines. If you do a couple of half throttle circles and come off the throttle slowly, letting it cool down, it's much better than just hitting the stop button (or going straight into a no-wake zone).

X2 I always warm down a bit and never warn up my ski before putting it in the water.
