    FUEL problem with 95 SL750

Hi all, I have a 1995 sl750 that I have rebuilt the top end and was given wiseco 70.75mm pistons when I got it, so I got everything all done and now I can get it to start and idle but it will not rev up at all it just dies out. I did rebuild the carbs, I did a pop off test on them and it was at like 20psi Please help I have been beating my head off the wall trying to figure this out.
    Thanks Jon

Did you clean/rebuild/replace the fuel filters and the fuel selector valve? What fuel pump do you have? Did you reinstall the return restrictor when you put the carbs back in?

yes I did do all of that and have triple out flow pump on it.

Mount the tripple output pump at the lowest location in the ski. I mounted mine on the rib in front of the battery

Did you use genuine Mikuni carb rebuild kits?

Did you verify the jets in the carbs?

Have you tried checking your fuel pressure?

Try unscrewing the fuel cap and see if that helps.

    Are your hoses routed correctly?

Does your ski have an autocock installed?

What sparkplugs do you have installed?

    What are they gapped at?

Have you tried cutting the plug wires back about 1/4" yet?

I think spec is 10-18 PSI, It may be too high. When you did the rebuild, which spring did you install? You need an 80 gram spring, which is black I believe.

I did the rebuild about a year ago, I do have the black spring in there how do i get the psi to come down?
