After doing McMaster washers when should I check slip?

I had put some New McMaster washers in a month ago with 1 shim to get it to the right slip,
What is the norm for them to break in and re check slip?
I have only about 10-15 hours on the new washers but it seems like they need to be rechecked, I have been running hard and coming unhooked with and the big chop here lately,

i set up my riva xx charger with mcmasters, it was tight at first nearly 18 ft lbs, after 5 hours it dropped to 16.4 ft lbs right where i personally want it to be for the conditions i ride in, good and tight!!

+1.....also it doesnt hurt to pre-load them a tad bit tighter than the recommended settings..I do this to all my chargers and to the ones i rebuild as they heat up and break in the slip will fall....
