Dynotune Boost Gauge
well I just ordered the Dynotune LED Boost Gauge for my RXP, I am thinking I will drill and tap the IC block off.
Any tips on installation from those who have done it, anyone got some new pics.

If you put the guage inside the little glove box it will be a piece of cake running the tube from the block off plate. Mine had a 1/2 npt plug so a tap and a 7/16 drill bit should be all you need if it is the same.

boost gauge install
These gauges are the best for display acuracy. I have installed 8 or so.
If you are going to be riding in salt water take some heat shrink and completely cover the din plug from the sending unit, you will need to use some silicone to seal the ends. Otherwise you will get corrosion and it affects the readout. For lanyard on power source, solder into the purple wire that goes to the starter relay. In really wet conditions theses gauges will die from water inside the gauge itself. You need to seal the seam, the spot where the wire goes in and also where the led face plate sits on the top. Use clear or black silicone, it doesnt make it look very pretty but will save the gauge in rough-wet conditions.
