I have a 2006 Seadoo RXT and i was wondering how accurate the stock gauge is? And do they stop at 69?

Unfortunalty the speedo is not very accurate and yes on average most skis stop at 69-70. your best bet is to get a low cost GPS unit for speed tracking as well as miles per trip/ fuel tracking. We all love it when someone at the ramp brags about speeds achieved using the stock speedo and usually proceed to try to get them to go out and run them so we can see thier face when they realize their mistake. Great Fun!!

Etrex on ebay will run ya 79 and up really all you need and you can velcro it to your glove box or hey you have a RXT get the glove box lid for the GTX and the Garmin 76 (go to seadoo site and see it) you can do it for total of 160.00 with a used 76 and it looks sharp just did this for GFs RXT for xmas
