    Rebuilding Oil pumps

I opened my stator cover while changing out my crank seals and found oil in there. It appears to be coming from my oil pump. Is there an "O" ring in there that can be replaced? No I dont want to premix thanks.

Sure it wasn't from a bad crank seal?

Maybe. But behind the stator was dry. Inside the cover behind pump was oily. Maybe it slung around some. Rebuildable? I am going to see if It"ll come apart. Maybe buy a different used one for peace of mind.
