MSX 140 blown PTO need suggestions please.

I had a customer bring me an '03 with a blown rear cylinder. Problem is that cylinder has been replaced along with the piston and is marked .50. It looks to have been hot and is very shiney on the intake side top of the piston. Exhaust top of the piston is melted down and burnt. I'm guessing the injector maybe bad and that's why the same cylinder went down again. Is this common? And is there a way to test the injector?

Thanks, I'll check it but we might end up parting it out.
