FZS speeds are coming up nicely!

Well I took my FZS out for a few minutes today while swapping trailers and we were able to run a 73.4 in far from ideal conditions in the Texas heat of the day. I didn't have my PET hooked up yet so I don't know the RPM's. Best stock speed was 65.4. My current mods are:

    - R3
    - Riva Power Filter
    - Jims VX Plate
    - R&D Grate with PPK
    - Foam removed and a few different air mods.
    - RRated Free Flow
    - HKS BOV

Not bad! Stock boost, stock untouched prop and ribbon still in place. Next will come Ribbon delete, ET Low Boost, Fizzle kit and Skat Long Blade Prop (13/23 to start), just waiting for the new batch of Fizzles to ship. I'm very please with the ski thus far!

Hmmmm, I thought an 8 mph gain from a filter, plate and R3 was pretty good, especially in hot and choppy conditions.

Once you get rid of the intake ribbon you will see the real gains with the flash. Ski is starving for air.

Yeah that's the next step! Just waiting for the Fizzle to show up so I can do it along with the ribbon delete and wheel at one time.

The ribbon delete, wheel and Intercooler with the R3 should do wonders. Should get you really close to 80. It's not getting enough air to reach it's potential with that ribbon in there. What do you have for an intake?

your speed with the R3 will go up after you lower the pitch of your impeller (or add more hp with more mods - ribbon, IC, etc) Most of the spped gain from the R3 is from allowing the rpms to go higher thus raising boost
