Could someone with a SM lookup CAR1 (CARI) please?

    Hi,

Got a Kawasaki Ultra LX 2009 (77 hours).

Had it out on the water yesterday, awesome day no issues. Flushed it last night.

Was going to go again today (long weekend) but instead decided against it and took it out t the yard to do a longer flush before it going into storage for winter.

Can't get it to start, Got code F1, held down set and Mode and got CARI or CAR1 as the error.

disconnected battery, let it reset. Managed to fire it up for about 2 seconds, back to F1 code.

Error then disappeared for a while, but no sparks coming through to engine.

I've googled and searched the forums here and other places. Very appreciative of any help.

    Cheers,

    Dave

Just wanted to add, that the fuel pump turns on, and the starter motor is cranking.

CAR1 is not a valid code
    CAA1 is camshaft position sensor.
COL1 is coil no1&4, open or short circuit.

    Could be CAA1.

This would come up even if it was trying to turn over?
