What the deal with UMI?
I stopped by today at the Scottsdale address and it looks like UMI closed up shop. Or moved???? Whats the deal. Even the website is down and phone number don't work.
Whats the deal? Is UMI racing the same company as UMI preformance?
I'm trying to find customer support for installing their steering system on my XPL.

I was told they are under new ownership. I had one of their throttle levers ordered from an online retailer, & after waiting months for the backordered part to ship, I called to cancel the order & get a refund. The guy told me the company had been sold & they were in the process of finding a machinest, but said he wasn't expecting any of their parts to be available again before the end of summer. Not sure how accurate this is, just what I heard. Sorry, can't help with any contact info for tech support. I was just happy to hear they're not belly-up because I have 4 of their steering setups, & it would suck not being able to get replacement bearings.

Thats a relief I was afraid they went out of business, we need all the support we can get. It sucks to see companies giving up on the two strokes. Long live the GPR.
