    I have a brand new plate seen the water once for less than an hour... I can't remember if it's an r&d or Riva I know it was the more expensive of the two?? You have any pics of your plate?? And also why u downgrading?? Thanks

    i dont think i want to mess with grinding down the pump and having to mess around with shimming a plate. seems to be more of a hassle.

    I hate to see you sell this plate its really not that big of a deal to grind the pump for clearance and you don't HAVE to shim it you can bolt it on as is, the shimming is just for squeezing every possible mph out of your combo. I'm sure there is someone on here local to you that will help you with the pump. We're literally talking about 10 min with a hand held grinder with the pump still mounted to the ski!

    yellow maybe i will just bolt it up n go for now. i need to find someone locally thats fair and honest. id like someone to install a prop/nose cone, grind pump, shim and install plate. i dont have the tools or the know how to do all of that. my local guy i stay away from. too many horror stories about the guy

    ++++100 what Yellow93 said, No big deal on grinding that pump and nozzle down.......that is a nice fast plate and not cheap.

    Maybe someone on the forum is close to OHIO and maybe give you a hand.......calling all GHulkers

    Yea I'm gonna keep it and just bolt up for now. I need someone close or kinda close to install a new prop, grind pump, install a ppk, and help shim this plate. I'm willing to travel and willing to pay someone with experience.
