I am collecting parts so that I can start a rebuild of my 92 waverunner 650 in the coming months and am looking for some knowledge. I want to squeak some more power out of the 650. I will be doing the basics porting, pipe, carb work, but I would also like to do some sort of big bore. I know that can place 701 cylinders on the lower end as long as I bore the cases to fit. If I can put 701 cyl on why can't I put 760 cylinders on it. I will mess around with port timing and everything myself. I do alot of porting on 2 stroke motorcycles, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles and have done quite a few pwc's. Anyone with knowledge to share on these older machines would be greatly appreciated, And I look forward to keeping everyone up to date on my findings. Thanks
