VP Race Fuel
Since summer time is here, I need to stock up on some race fuel for the 1010. Just wondering if you guys have any opinion on either VP C12 or VP-110? Both are leaded race fuels with very close octane numbers. I did a little research and found that people have not noticed any difference. The VP-110 does seem to be considerably less expensive.

The Royal Purple raceway in Baytown sells the VP 110 at the pump for about $8.10 a gallon,
I use a place in Santa Fe that sells the VP 110 for about $8.25 per gallon
the C12 is $10.25 per gallon,
The C12 is green with motor octane of 108 the Vp 110 is purple with a motor octane of 105
the VP-110 is formulated fo use in naturally aspirated engines with CRs up to 12:1
the C12 is a good all around racing fuel recomended for CRs bleow 15:1

Randy liked the c12. Higher motor octane.

And I've been using the C12 but I didn't know if there was a less expensive alternative from VP. Thanks guys!

Ugh...it is kinda hard to buy 5 gallons of C12 for $62. It is convenience factor as it is a couple of miles from my house and comes in a sealed 5 gallon container, but damn!!
