    XL760 cylinders in a 701 case

Is it practical to put a xl760 clyinders in a old 95 wave venture that has a 701 case? Would everything bolt up? How about the computer and timing? I suspect the head and case would have to be milled to fit, so probably doesnt make sense costs wise.

I don't think 760 cylinders will slide in a 701 case without boring the case for the larger cyl base. www.groupk.com has a lot of info about that subject if you want more and definitive advise. There is no computer, and the timing works fine with either. Everything will work without mods except the 760 cyl in the 701 case.
A better and cheaper fix is the 701 cyl can be bored to the 760 size I believe, and you can get it ported at the same time for big gains. The factory 760 cyl's are not ported very performance oriented.
In addition, I think I remember the 760 has a bit wider and different exhaust port, so there is an issue with the exhaust manifold.

Yeah thought about that. Seems like using the original sleeves and bore out to 760 is like taking 3mm out. That seems like a bunch. But then I guess really only taking 1.5m out.

I've heard it does fit. I'm looking to do that build right now with one of my blasters

You can't slide the 760 cyl on to the stock 62T cases. Just tried it to see
