Water leak damaging lc1 sensor!!!
Well this suck after reading some advices about a water leak damaging my sensor I started looking. I started the ski and let it ran for 1 minute on the hose then I shut it off and pull the sensor right away. I notice a tiny drop of water on the tip of the sensor f....uk. Where should I start looking for this leak. Keep in mind that my intercooler is brand new and I just relocated the sensor to the manifold because I had the same problem on the j pipe. The j pipe I just bought form a forum member untouched stating no leaks. My compression is 148lb all three cylinders. By the way the mani is my stock one that I took the machine shop to get it tap, did look good and I couldn't see any place that could of leak but I'm no expert.

Why did u buy a new jpipe if you had you're manifold tapped?

I would check to see if the water jacket on the manifold got cut into when being tapped for the O2 sensor..Water could be leaking down the threads onto the sensor....

Just because the IC is new, doesn't mean it's not leaking, especially if it's an eBay one....

Time to pressure test the cooling system.

Could be micro cracking on the exhaust manifold? hit water jacket when tapping manifold?
