Strapping Down Fuel Containers. What's your method?

Just wanted 2 c how many creative ways you guys have come up with to carry that "insurance policy" for those extra long cruises around the drink. If you have pics that'd be nice 2.

I have pics buried in this DIY thread somewhere: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...=1#post1338557
BTW, the rack will hold four 5 gallons cans, which give me an effective range of about 170 miles before a refuel is needed.

I struggled with tie downs and found these. Regular "S" hooks on tie down straps tend to slip and slide because they don't fit the lip and don'g have enough surface area. He shows a couple of ideas here. http://www.transom-hooks.com/Junkies_Home.html
