    750 to 780 carbs

Does anyone know which 780 carbs did not come with a choke?
my sl750 carbs were bad so I found some 780 carbs and there is no choke on them. instead there is what looks like another set of oil injection lines. I am confused since these carbs have the oil lines on the side of the carb also. I have been looking through old posts and have not seen any other black carbs like that.
What do I do with the extra lines?

They all have choke from factory. Quite a few people prefer primer over choke, so they removed the choke and installed primer kit instead. Extra set of 'oil lines' is actually fitting for primer line.

ok, thanks. that makes perfect sense. wondering if i should put the choke back on or keep the lines. do i need to block the end of the primer lines if i keep them or does it not matter since they will not create a vaccum leak?

They are small and pre-carb, it does not really matter if you plug them or not. Since fittings are already in place, I would install primer kit to help starting the ski, saving the battery.
