Another supercharger failure, alomst
Rxt-x 255 75 hours, after my normal warm up idling/cruising, I went for it as usual. I was missing a whole lot of power and only hit 7000 rpm's, thinking oh crap...the blower went.
But after a fiew tries all went back to normal, strange or not? Maybee the charger went back to normal after hitting full temperature?
I will not take any chances so new blower or rebuild coming up.

spark plug on the verge of fouling out?

Could be I guess, but I changed them during winterisation, i've ridden 5 hours on them this season.

Always change the plugs after the first ride of the season. The fogging oil tends to foul them in the spring.

So since it went back to normal it's not likely to be the blower then?

It's very unlikely the charger went.
Change the plugs and run some fuel injection cleaner.
When the charger goes it will not get over 6k rpm.

Might have been below 6000 on the first, but went higher and higher. Good thing I bought 6 plugs in the fall

Yep, I was thinking about that, good excuse for buying a digital torque wrench)

I've got 143 hrs on my gtx i.s. 255 and just rebuilt the charger.
It didn't fail or problems just did it because of hours.
My charger didn't need rebuilt so I'm thinking yours is fine.
I haven't heard of the x models failing....
