    Manifold leak can it be repair??

    The freaking machine shop that did my manifold tap fuck it up!! Is leaking at the threads can it be fix??

    Pretty sure you will be buying a new manifold. I went with the j pipe weld because I was worried about this.

    Get a new manifold and tap it again... Do it yourself... Piece of mind...

    This happened to me also,i had a welder put some welds on the hole and retapped it,never leaked again.

    Assume it's a pre 08 mani? Its touch and go with the early ones. You can hardly blame the machine shop unless they did not do what you told them.

    Is an easy repair. Can be welded or you can plug it with JB weld or similar.

    More than likely it will leak with JB weld after a few heat cycles, your best bet is a 08+ manifold.
