    2012 RXP-X 260 prop suggestions

Hey guys, I'm new to posting but have been a long time reader (a lot of help from Greenhulk). I just started modding my 2012 PX and all I have is a 4 inch Kanaflex intake FA removed and the stage I Vtech tune 8350 rev limit. I tested it with 15/22 that I had laying around and the best RPM I've seen was 7960. Recently purchased 15/20 from the online store and now I'm close to the limiter 8340. If I start putting mods like exhaust and '08 X cooler then it will put me even higher. What do you guys suggest? Re-pitch the 15/20? Do you think it's normal to have a 300 RPM difference between 15/20 and 15/22? Thanks in advance.

I'd go big prop, and adjust nozzle. Or 15/21. Depends on you speeds. What Speeds with those RPMs?

Your results are very similar to what I saw going from a 15/22 to a 15/20. I would just have the 15/20 pitched to a 15/21. The rear exhaust should not add any performance. The bigger cooler should just help maintan IAT temps for longer periods.

Yes it is normal to see 300 rpm change, especially with weather changes. I'd run the 15/20 for a while because it is probably real close to being dialed in with the heat of the summer coming! Exhaust mods won't due anything for performance. The bigger IC will help some.

And if you do want the 15/20 re-pitched send it to Erik at www.speedfreeksracing.com

Have not GPSed my speed yet but I have seen 75 on stock speedo going against 2 mph current.

I guess 15/21 is the key for me. Hoping it will put me at 8160
