GPs shows riding on land?
Has anyone ever had their GPS show you as riding your ski in the middle of land for part of your trip through marsh? I'm talking intercoastal waterway, but relatively narrow paths. This happened to my Garmin 76csx this past weekend riding from Atlantic City to Ocean City NJ

If you don't have the inland lakes & waterways Garmin maps, there's lots of places where it will do that.

That happens in SoLA all the time. Even w/current US Inland Lakes maps. Of course, we lose something like 10 acres a day (or whatever the official number is this year) to salt water intrusion... After I download a track from my 76, I generally do a "View in Google Earth" to check and see how well the data matches up.
