Good luck on that one. Those are very hard to find used. You can get them new from Ocean Pro for around 200 bucks. They do pop up on Ebay occasionally. If you see one you have to act fast because they don't last long. I bought one used on Ebay and paid around 130 bucks for it. The batwing virage plate is a good alternative though.

Yeah, i've seen them for $200 from OP new. Just not worth that price to me when the batwing is pretty much just as good. Its just the only part I haven't upgraded yet on my ski.

The OP plate is about 1 MPH faster than the batwing I have heard.

the op plate handles WAY better, not even close between the 2.the batwing is a smoother ride when both run a 4 wedge, absolutely hate the batwing with a 6 wedge in the rough, the op is o'kay

I have never run a batwing. I have only ridden skis with the OP plate on it. I really like the improvement it makes, but I actually seemed to like the stock SLT plate in rougher water.

Well I've never had the TXI ski in the water, but my 800 has the batwing and it does ok, I just don't have anything to compare it to.
I do have hot seat sponsons on the TXI so I'm hoping that helps alot.

what type water do you ride mostly??i've got river and lake setups for both my virages.on the river its all about smooth water speed and keeping the nose up.my lake setup will scrub about 4-5 mph by keeping the nose down.i tolerate the op plates on the lake with either a 3 or 4 wedge.lots of time when i start jumping waves the longer op plate will clip the tail on a wave and prematurely start the nose down too soon.but i'm not gonna swap plates around.so after riding lots of combos i settled on the op's.the h/s sponsons help a bunch, all the way back and down.

I have the OP plate on my wife's SLT and I also added trim to it. I can get the nose down pretty well when I want to that way.
